A Little Post on Spending a Little Less
Just a mini post at this point, working on more over the next few hours so I can get ahead a bit… but I did want to say that I finally have been able to get my “regular expense account” built up enough to pay for a full year of my term life insurance policy at a time. That right there resulted in an $82.40 discount over paying it quarterly as I had been.
That alone made my financial day.
I now return to my mid-life crisis…

Isn’t it amazing how much insurance companies charge in order for consumers to pay quarterly or monthly? The APR is ridiculous! The calculator at http://www.accuquote.com/modal.cfm is used to determine the total dollar amount and provide you with an approximate APR for any additional charge you may incur if you choose to pay your annual premium in installments.
