One of my friends at work took a few days off right around the American Thanksgiving holiday to start on her holiday shopping.

But she said the first day was shopping for herself.

I realize there are many people who will treat themselves to something around Christmas and that the best prices of the year are often right around American Thanksgiving.

But a whole day of shopping for themselves for the holidays?

Seems excessive. While working on a new computer for my niece is inspiring me to get the same thing for myself (maybe with a larger screen), I don’t think I’ve spent anything on myself.

Maybe it’s just me, but I really don’t see myself spending money on myself for the holidays, at least not until everyone else is taken care of.

    HAHA!

    I can believe that.

In fact, I may have done that once or twice.

If you are spending out so much money to begin with, you think “what’s a couple of other treats for myself if I am spending so much already?”
