Has the Economy Affected Your Holiday Plans?
Considering that I have frugal plans anyway, the economy really hasn’t affected what I was hoping to do this holiday season. No trips, no extravagant gifts, nothing out of the ordinary.
But then again, I still have (both of my) jobs, I still have my blog, and it’s really been a great investing year for me–and we refinanced the mortgage, so things are as positive as I can imagine in the financial arena.
For those who haven’t been nearly as fortunate–including my friends who work for the state and their associated furlough days–I’m wondering how things have changed in the last few months.
It’s still ugly out there financially for many, so my guess is lots of folks have had to make changes. Are you one of them? I hope not, but I’m sure some of you are.
