A couple of areas I’ve been able to reduce costs recently: first, I got my cell phone bill down from $50 a month to $30 a month and increased my minutes and text messages by signing up for the now just a distant memory Sprint SERO plan. That’s $20 a month that goes straight into the bank. Second, using the GPS I got from MyGPSOffer.com, I’ve been able to reduce my total miles on my commute a bit which seems to translate into about 1/2 gallon less a week.

That totals about $28 a month.

$28 a month isn’t a huge deal, but it’s $336 a year. Even today, $336 is about a month and a half’s worth of gasoline.

Next time you consider ways to snowflake (which is a great thing!) let’s also consider ways to cut costs, particularly on regular expenses. Those ongoing savings can have a great influence on your bottom line too!
