How Much Less is a Homemade Latte?
Cost of an iced latte at Starbucks: $3.65.
Cost of an iced latte made myself: $1.00.
Now, my office at work definitely doesn’t have the same ambiance (or music or WiFi) that Starbucks does, but it does have music and it can have WiFi (provided I brought my Geek stuff that day). And yes, I do go weekly to a coffee shop (usually not Starbucks, but interestingly, as I write this, I actually am at a Starbucks), So, in my opinion, sometimes it’s worth it to go out for a latte, but for the most part, I’ll take that $2.65 price reduction and run with it.
