State of the Blog, June 2008
First off, Uncommon Cents continues to grow and continues to be profitable, although I would (of course) love it if it was even more profitable! This month we broke into three figures in terms of subscribers, which is great! My goal for 2008 is to end the year with 500 subscribers, so we’re on our way, and if you haven’t subscribed, consider doing so now by clicking here!. We’ve continued to have guest posts weekly from the absolutely delightful Kyle of Rather-Be-Shopping.com, and I’ve also sheepishly returned the favor to him (for one week!).
What’s in store for the future? Well, I would like to upgrade the WordPress software that powers this blog, which is likely going to require a change in theme as in my tests, there’s been some issues with the theme I’m using and the new version of WordPress. In addition, I have some things to add as well, including the brand new PFBuzz.com, but you’ll see all of those when we get updated.
Stay tuned; the best of Uncommon Cents is yet to come!

Many congrats!
Upgrading has worked out quite smoothly for me. I know others have had issues…but most seem solvable. Just do lots and lots of backups–theme, blog, everything!
Congrats on getting to 100 subscribers!
I upgraded to the new Wordpress version as well. Do it soon for no other reason than the improved security measures so your blog does not get hacked. (Mine did, and was the main reason I upgraded) Change your password often as well and make it really random characters and numbers!
Thanks for the guest post as well!!
